This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.
Need an Official Docket or Record?
Use the following Lake County routes for common record needs:
- A docket sheet: run a case lookup in Indiana MyCase, or request the CCS from the maintaining clerk
- A court date or setting: check court dates, then confirm the setting with the division
- Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
- A specific case: search by party name, cause number, or attorney in MyCase
- Court records and case files: follow the court record search request options or contact the proper clerk
The primary county counter is the Clerk of the Lake Circuit/Superior Court, Michael A. Brown, at 2293 N. Main Street, first floor, Crown Point, IN 46307. The Clerk's published phone number is (219) 755-3460, and regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. A case may instead be held at a satellite division or by a city or town court clerk, so confirm the court before visiting.
